A Level work; a practise shoot to try and work out what-the-hell-i'm-doing in terms of composition, colours, angles + perspectives, etc. This shoot, as a horror shoot, is pretty naff, but I like a few of the outcomes and I need a lot more improvement so uploading them on here makes life easier - I know a few things I need to improve on big time, but do any of you have any suggestions on how I can improve future shoots to make them more dark/horrific looking, realistic etc? I don't have mad makeup skillz, so realistic crit please

And i'm uh, aware the blood looks terribly fake - i'll make it better next time XD;
To begin, my one semi-negative critique is that I feel your blood is a bit too light, not sure what you used, but I generally tend to use corn syrup and red food dye, and then add in Hershey's chocolate syrup and mix to give it a darker tone.
And now for the the rest:
Wow, now this is a picture that tells a story. Where to begin? I love the blood in the foreground with the hand slightly off focus in the back, it's implications are very plain without being overly graphic or disturbing. Overall, especially since you're aiming for a dark and disturbed, I'd say you've managed to hit the mark, both in your vision, and with the actual colors on camera. Well done!
Poignant... I liiike 8D as the critique guy said, light blood, but I know you were struggling with that anyway so I won't go on XD Everything else- 10/10.
